Sunday, May 1, 2022  AZ Outlaws Gathering

Meetings are held the 1st Sunday of every month at the Lone Spur Cafe in Scottsdale. The gathering starts around 8-8:30 am, followed by a driving tour for lunch. Join us for a cup of coffee while you look, talk and enjoy 356's up close with other owners.

Our NEW monthly meeting location is the Lone Spur Cafe in Scottsdale
15600 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260

  • Just South of Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd on Hayden Road.  The Lone Spur Cafe is just behind the Dutch Bros and State 48 Lager House.
  • For parking, use the small lot spaces in the NW corner of the lot away from the restaurant so we don't block parking access for other customers.

Following the Lone Spur gathering at 9:30  am, Tom Reyman will lead a drive to Pinnacle Peak General Store at the Southwest corner of Pima Road and Pinnacle Peak Road. (Address 8711 E. Pinnacle Peak Road ; the restaurant is behind the bank building). No reservation - first come, first served.

4Corners 356 Gathering

The Four Corners event hosted by the ZIA 356 Club of New Mexico is coming together for late August.  Here’s the latest from ZIA organizer Garry Wolf:

“The official registration will be coming out within the next 2 weeks, but meanwhile we have 15-plus committed from Arizona, and the same number 15-16 verbally committed to going.  We have 3-4 that sound like they might go.

“You can now make reservations at the Hampton Inn in Durango, Colorado, for August 25,26,27, and leaving on the 28th.  To reserve rooms, call the Hampton Inn and using "Porsche 356 Club” to book rooms at the going rate of $205 + tax and speak with the GM Jenny Roberts (Nice lady)

“They have 35 rooms available for the 25th, and another 10-15 for the 26th and 27th, so I have already booked my rooms.”

Any questions, contact Garry at  gwolf5@comcast.net or (505) 263-3625 for more information.

West Coast Holiday on the California coastline

The West Coast Holiday is back!  The 356 community will converge from all over for the first Porsche 356 Registry holiday held in Paso Robles, California, in 37 years.  Registration is now open for the annual event, which takes place September 14-18.  Click here for registration and information.

According to the 356 Registry event calendar, “El Paso de Robles (The Pass of the Oaks), noted in ancient times for its healing hot springs, is now known for its world-class vineyards, coastal vistas, rolling hills, and Central California Coast vibe.”

The many attractions of the central California area include the scenic coastal Highway 1 to Big Sur and the Monterey peninsula, an incredibly gorgeous drive; Parkfield, where the San Andreas Fault can be seen; and the vast acres of wine country surrounding Paso Robles.

Events and activities included in the West Coast Holiday are visits to the Estrella Warbirds Museum and the Woodland Auto Collection; a plated dinner at the Cass Winery; a tour of historic California missions; Show and Shine Wine Tasting; cooking classes; and available tours to the Sea Lion Sanctuary and the Hearst Castle.
