Join Chamber staff, Ambassadors and Board Members in celebrating Alby and Mo's Mother's Cooking Experience, during a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, 5/6/22 at 1 pm.
Located in Northtown Coffee, Alby and Mo, daughter/mother team and owners make Afro-Cuban Fusion Cuisine. We can't wait to try it!

Multi-Partner High School Mentorship Program
|
|
|
|
The Arcata Chamber is partnering with Arcata High School and College of the Redwoods to offer a pilot, eight-week mentorship program for seven high school seniors. The purpose of the program is to support the seniors in their transition from high school graduation to college, jobs, and future careers.
Participants meet once each week to explore career opportunities and to work on college and job readiness skills. Program activities have been determined by the student's interest including field trips to CR, Cal Poly Humboldt, Green Diamond Resource Company, and an upcoming Career & Education Fair. Job shadow placement, workshops about resumes, effective interviewing, and tips and insight for career success are also included.

Limited Re-Opening of the
Welcome Center

The Arcata Humboldt Welcome Center will resume limited open hours for the public and visitors.
The open hours will be
Tuesdays and Thursdays
between 11 am and 1 pm.
The Center will be closed during the rest of the week for administrative operations during this time of staffing transitions.
General inquiries are welcome anytime by calling 707-822-3619.
