Friends,

The PTSA meeting that was tentatively scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, May the 10th has been canceled since it conflicts with Senior Tea, which we are very pleased is able to be held this year after a two year hiatus! Please stay tuned for forthcoming information about our end of year celebration to honor PTSA volunteers.

We also have an opportunity to support our graduating Seniors as we plan for the upcoming drug and alcohol free Project Graduation celebration! Please follow this link to donate: https://www.gofundme.com/f/grimsley-project-graduation-2022?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf%20share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR2l6vEZGywdZfBBmP4nHll13L8qSDBteSNr-IXmlXCQ3BetpLRErKW80KQ

The Grimsley Community is invited on May 13th at 6:30 pm for the annual Senior Class fundraiser, "Mr. Whirlie!" Mr. Whirlie is a comedic beauty pageant-like competition consisting of guys from the senior class performing an opening dance and competing for best dressed, interview, and talent portions.  Tickets will be $7 at the door. Don't miss out on this opportunity for an entertaining evening & to support the senior class.  All funds raised will go toward the senior gift contribution to Grimsley.

Lastly, we hope all our teachers, staff, and administrators had a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week and know how much our school community values their hard work and commitment to our students.

Happy Mother's Day!
Amanda Buchanan

Project Graduation
Grimsley PTSA has a 30 year tradition of hosting a fun, drug and alcohol free event the night of graduation for our seniors so they can enjoy one final night with friends on campus.  We are gearing up for this year's event with fun plans for a carnival style event, rain or shine on June 3rd.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $6,500 to help fund this fantastic and free event for our seniors!

Laptop Return Process– Friday May 13th
Students must have their Chromebook and charger with them in school on Friday, May 13th. On this date, an inventory of all Chromebooks and chargers will be taken during 4th period. If a student knows they will be absent on Friday, May 13th, they should show their device and charger to their 4th period teacher before this date. Students will turn in their Chromebook and charger to their 4th period teacher on May 19th. Online students and students without a 4th period class should return their device directly to Mrs. Worrells in the library on May 19th.

Senior Tea
