MURAL METAMORPHOSIS
Following delays caused by last month's unusual rain storms, Ink Dwell artists are back in action, adding images of wildlife to the south-facing wall of Orinda Library.
Look for the artists to complete the mural in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, the library garage will remain closed to the public during weekdays.

BOOKSHOP NEEDS HELP
The Friends Bookshop is in urgent need of more volunteers. Due to unexpected personal challenges, several current volunteers have been forced to step back, leaving the shop dramatically short-staffed.
Bookshop sales provide crucial funds to support Orinda Library. With as few as three hours a month, you could supply the critical difference to keep the shop open.
Join book lovers such as Judy Grant, pictured here, to support this community service. Training provided. Explore this opportunity by calling Linda McCartt at (925) 377-0979.
