As you know, at the heart of Glocal is the desire to mobilize, train and connect people from the Treasure Valley in friendship with people who have come as refugees to our valley. Relationships, building social capital, learning together are all part of what helps a new family or person integrate and adjust to life in a new country. We, at Glocal feel so blessed to be a part of this work and all the opportunities we have to meet new people and then connect them to others here in Boise. 

Tomorrow, May 2, begins Idaho Gives. For those of you in Idaho, you might be familiar with it. For those of you outside of Idaho, it is a time when we really see how generous our community is. It is the first time that Glocal is taking part in this donation campaign and we are super excited to see what the Lord does through it. We hope that you will follow along on Facebook and Instagram to learn the ways Glocal is impacting the lives of New Americans who have arrived to our valley as refugees.
