Simcenter Amesim 2022.1

Simcenter Amesim is a fully integrated scalable simulation platform for modelling and analyzing various types of multi-domain systems. Recently Siemens came out with Simcenter Amesim version 2022.1. This new release includes a heat exchanger assistant application, modular piping enhancements and many more. Get to know more about this release through the button below.

Meeting future female engineers

On 7 April 2022 Femto Engineering welcomed the girls from the Freinetschool in Delft for Girlsday. Girls’ Day is an initiative of VHTO, expertise centre for gender diversity in STEM and IT, to introduce young girls to the world of science, technology and engineering. The girls can take part in interesting activities, meet female employees and learn more about STEM work.

New release SDC

SDC Verifier helps to speed up, simplify and automate the verification process in FEM analyses. Among new features are the Added Wave Load and Wave Coefficients for Ansys and Tapered Beam Tool used to refine mesh of tapered beams for Femap. Furthermore, Weld Stresses category and variables to use results of the tool in checks were added to the Rainflow Counting Tool.
