Let the Joy of Easter Resound

The good news of the risen Christ is bigger than a single day. The Easter gospel will continue to march across centuries and continents. However, there will always be forces that try and slow that march. Those forces could be self-inflicted fears and doubts. They could be various types of persecutions. Whatever the case, the good news of Easter will not be restrained. For it is not some myth or fable, not a hoax or conspiracy. The reality of Easter rests on the testimony of eyewitnesses. Therefore, the gospel cannot be boxed in any more than Christ could be put back in a tomb. Many may try and restrain the good news of Christ. But the march of the Church’s witness will never slow down.
Join us this Sunday, as we continue to celebrate our risen Savior, who overcomes our doubts and fears to use us to spread the good news of his victory to all the world!

In Christ our Victorious Savior,
Pastor Wagner

Easter Thanks and Praise to God

Many, many volunteers deserve many, many thanks for all the time, energy, planning, and preparation that made for memorable Easter services and breakfast. Thank you for the special music: vocal, organ, and instrumental; ushers, technology leaders, those who did the flower arranging, narthex and cross displays. Thank you to all who planned, donated, served, and helped clean up for the Easter breakfast. Members and guests left with a wonderful Easter celebration and experience. May God continue to be praised through the gifts of his people!

Confirmation Events

On Sunday, May 1, eleven young people will be confirmed in the Lutheran faith during the 10:30 service (in the sanctuary).
These students have written essays sharing their confirmation verse and why it is meaningful to them. Confirmands attending RLS will read their essays in a special chapel service on Friday, April 29, at 8:10 am. During this chapel service, our 8th graders will also present Bibles to our first graders. We invite all of our members to attend this special service. It will also be livestreamed on our YouTube page.
May God continue to bless these young Christians, as they continue to grow in faith and serve their Savior!

We at 922 Ministries would like it known that we would be willing to help other churches or WELS members start their own mental health ministry.
