Dear Families and Friends of SLC,
After 2 years of living through a global pandemic, we are grateful that SLC has been able to keep its doors open and continue to offer high quality, early education to families in and around Evanston. Last year, COVID limited the number of students who were able to enroll, but we are delighted to have 111 kids this year, including 9 students in our inaugural Kindergarten class!

As we look ahead, not only do we want to see our enrollment numbers return to what they were, but to have the ability to enroll children who would not be able to attend without financial support. Each year, we provide assistance to a number of families. This primarily comes in the form of scholarships, but it also includes things like classroom aides, early- and after-care, and even transportation to and from SLC.

While we are thankful that we have been able to help 14 children this year, we know that there are other families that didn’t get a chance to be part of SLC because the cost was too high. We hope that you will join us in continuing to make SLC accessible to more families through your financial giving.
Providing a recurring monthly gift of any amount would allow us to support families in a sustainable way.
