Hello and welcome!

We are on the countdown to our Rail Safety & Infrastructure networking event taking place in Birmingham on the 3 May. If you have signed up, we are looking forward to seeing you there!

The event will set out to address the importance of a safety culture on the railway, the work practices and solutions being implemented to make the railway an even safer place to work and the importance of collaboration in delivering a safer railway. This event will also provide plenty of opportunities for networking with lunch included. We are looking forward to welcoming our fantastic speakers:

Railtex/Infrarail - the RBD Community team will be exhibiting as part of the Rail Business Daily Eagle Lab at Railtex and are looking forward to showcasing our members. Next week I will be sending everyone a PowerPoint template, if you would like to be included as part of a rolling presentation on the stand, please complete this and return back to me. I also wanted to take this opportunity to once again draw your attention to this very special opportunity to support the Station to Station Queen's Jubilee Commemorative Brochure (which is being produced to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee)

The rail industry is marking the occasion of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a commemorative brochure celebrating our collective achievements in UK rail. While doing so, it is hoped to raise up to £175,000 for our amazing industry charities such as the Railway Children, Samaritans, Railway Mission, Rail Benefit Fund, Women in Rail and more! The brochure will feature as a souvenir to buy during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June. Companies contributing to the brochure will provide an article-based entry.
