Sometimes my earrings take on a life of their own.
When I sit down to make earrings I usually try several bead combinations and often end up with happy accidents when beads get mixed up on my table. Often I end up being surprised by which pieces want to go together.
The pair on the left ended up pretty bonkers with mismatched lucite flowers attached to dark red wire spirals, but they still wanted more, so I added another link with green and gold polymer clay beads. I’m trying to decide if I should keep them or if someone else will find them as much fun as I do!
The tiny pair on the right was supposed to be an additional dangle to another pair of beads bead, but no, they decided to be a pair of earrings all on their own. I really like these too, and I will probably be making more of them to match the colours of my stud earrings.
