"What’s New Next Week"

 

  • Mudra: Dharma Chakra Gesture of the Wheel of Truth. Dharma = your purpose, Chakra = wheel. This mudra is thought to be balancing for all constitutions, all doshas, all energy levels. 
 
  • Breath: 6 count in, 6 cont out; extended exhales
 
  • Chair Yoga: "Chest and Hip Opening" --We'll find some repeats here whether in seated or standing....to address opening of the chest as well as the hips. 
 
  • Strong & Steady: "Movin' & Groovin" Through Strength"--Move through some classic multi joint strength moves and some not so traditional as we meld traditional with yoga.
 
  • Therapeutic Yoga: "Hamstring Focus Flow" --This practice has a focus on the hamstrings, both strength and length. No weight bearing through hands and knees today.
