The demands of everyday life have a way of causing emotional turmoil and stress to which no one is exempted .
Sometimes we tend to believe that when these demands are out of our lives, we will be at a greater chance of obtaining inner peace, so we ditch our self-care tools if we had any and work ourselves towards getting the demands off the to-do list.
Peace of mind or the internal state of tranquility makes us feel at ease within ourselves, we feel prepared to welcome whatever life will throw at us, we have a deep sense of self-compassion, and day-to-day worries don't ruffle us, in other words we are capable of remaining calm in the face of distressing events.

A life without peace of mind can be identified by these symptoms
  • Aches and pains
  • Anger and irritability
  • Stomach distress
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Relationship tension and conflict
  • Mental distress
  • Emotional distress
These symptoms are the same as someone with stress and anxiety. If you are struggling to find peace, here are some skills you can implement to cultivate peace of mind in your life.
  • Make time for yourself
  • Tap into your spirituality with God
  • Try solitude
  • Keep a journal
  • Get yourself into nature
  • Look forward to something
  • Practice forgiveness
  • practice mindfulness meditation
  • make time for yourself
  • Accept what you cannot change
I want to expound more on these practices on improving having peace of mind this upcoming Wednesday at
www.instagram.com/forerunnercounseling at 12:00 noon.

John 14:27 ( AMP)
Peace I leave with you: My (perfect) peace I give to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. ( let my perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.)

Sincerely,
