Sustainable Land Management Survey
The Limestone Coast Landscape Board's Sustainable Primary Production program focuses on supporting land managers in responsible environmental stewardship through promoting the protection and enhancement of soil, water and biodiversity, including reducing the impacts of pest animals and weeds.
This survey should take approximately 30 minutes for primary producers to complete, and 20 minutes or less for other participants.
Questions cover:
- your background in land management and the nature of your property/enterprise
- climate, extreme events and changing markets
- soil management
- biodiversity management
- carbon management.

2022 Program Out Now
The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival takes place annually during May, following the Coonawarra vintage. Their aim is to highlight excellence through the involvement of local, national and international artists. The Festival promotes Penola’s rich literary, art and cultural heritage, as well as the fine wines of Coonawarra.
Exhibitions, workshops, festival flavours and performances are held in Penola, and at many of Coonawarra’s winery cellar doors.

In a Good Place Program
Remote, rural and regional Not For Profits in communities across Australia can now apply for grants through Foundation for Rural Regional and Renewal’s In a Good Place program to support community-driven activities focused on mental health and wellbeing.
Groups can apply for grants of up to $20,000 to support a range of initiatives that are preventative or responsive in nature, and clearly and directly focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Not sure what kinds of things can be funded? If your project aims to increase social participation and connections with the community, reduce stigma surrounding mental health by encouraging open discussion or supporting self-help-seeking, then you could be eligible.

Recycling Infrastructure Grants
Funding is available to South Australian businesses and Local Governments that recover, handle and process recyclable materials with the opportunity to invest in equipment, technology and processes to respond to the prevailing market conditions.
Applicants can apply from $25,000 to a maximum of $200,000 (excluding GST) per project (must be matched 1:1 by applicant). Applications close 13 May 2022. Find out more here.

Circular Economy Market Development Grants
Grants for councils, industry associations, not-for-profit organisations, research institutes, and businesses that design, apply and scale-up innovative circular economy business models and practices or produce, manufacture, sell or promote South Australian recycled materials and recycled-content products.
Up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) per applicant is available (must be matched 1:1 for private sector businesses). Projects should target one or more priority waste materials including plastics, paper and cardboard, glass, scrap metals, textiles, e-waste and tyres and organics. Applications close 13 May 2022. Duties will include:
- Servicing requirements to all types of forestry machinery and transport equipment
- Manage and adapt workloads in accordance with demand
- Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services in both the field and in the workshop
- A commitment to maintain and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace.
