Greetings <<First Name>>,  It was a pleasure playing for you and opening up the MISSV show last night at the Royal Room. Thank you for signing my email list and I hope we can stay in touch.  I send emails out infrequently and when I do they are generally about a new release, news or a show near you. 

Personal note about last night's show...
It was a blast to reconnect w/ Stephen Hodges (drummer for MSSV). Steve was pivotal to my first two releases playing percussion and producing both records. He is a dear friend and has collaborated on several recent projects.  And then Watt... legendary... had the chance to play a few shows with him in LA and it's always inspiring to see him play.  Mike Baggetta is a new acquaintance, I was taken in by his performance at the Royal Room several years ago and so it was honor to open for him last night - his musicality and approach to the guitar is breath taking.


 

I have a new single to let know you about. This is a cover of Dylan's Ring Them Bells  recorded live at The Triple Door many years ago. I was fortunate to be in the company of Kate Tucker, a dear friend and an accomplished songwriter, who joined me on vocals along with bandmate Lacey Brown on drums and the ever talented Scott Teske on acoustic bass. It's an older recording but I thought it fitting to release something live . Collectively it has been a hard couple of years for many of us. The uncertainty of the world we now live in - coupled with an increasingly fractured and polarized society, makes me long for the days when the arts had a more unifying pull. It is with that in mind that I thought I would re-release a live song performance that I felt captures that spirit.
