Hope this finds you all in the best of spirits and health. As the entire world is going through changes and crisis, we have all witnessed and experienced so much with each passing moment over the last two years. With the recent passing away of Maitrayi Majumdar, the entire community is still shaken up and remains teary eyed, reminiscing all the moments spent with her. Maitrayi Di’s outstanding leadership, friendship, guidance, and wisdom will be forever remembered and treasured by the Dakshini family. As the community heals with each other’s support, we will once again prove ourselves to be strong and united under the guiding principles of love, compassion, hope and camaraderie and come out of every single hardship stronger than ever before.
The Executive Committee 2022-2024 has stepped in effective April 23, 2022, and I am humbly proud to lead this team of amazing and talented individuals. I would like to thank the Election Commission 2021, Board of Advisors and Executive Committee 2019-2022 for initiating and delivering the transition amidst the heartbreak.
I sincerely appreciate the trust and the support extended to my team from the entire community. ‘Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.’ For the next two years, the Executive Committee 2022-2024 will focus on engaging with and serving the community by balancing traditions and aspirations and fulcruming progressive changes. We will make thoughtful decisions and strive to understand and realize the best interest of the organization.
I ask and request our beloved members to come together as Team Dakshini, practice understanding, sensitivity and consideration in the spirit of unity and solidarity.
