Dear all, I hope you are well and the sap is rising! I am certainly emerging from winter’s cocoon and loving the longer days, the warmth of the sun and the return of green!
As usual my newsletter announces Nick’s and my Open Studio, this one however will not be on the first Saturday of the month but the last! Saturday 30th of April 10-5 our doors will be open! The woods behind the studio are full of bluebells and birdsong, why not bring a picnic and make a day of it!
And other news… I have been invited to paint at Sculpture By The Lakes for their gardens exhibition on the 25-29th of May! It’s a beautiful place for a day out, I shall be there on the weekend of the 28-29th. https://www.sculpturebythelakes.co.uk/events

Something a little different above! I have painted swallows on this pretty little vintage cupboard, functional yet attractive, what’s not to like!?
And below a collaboration Nick and I undertook! The Red Lion in Heytesbury asked if we would give the shipping container in their pub garden a bit of a makeover! Painting on metal and corrugated metal at that was a little out of my comfort zone but I was so pleased with the results! Nick and I work together each day in the studio but never before on the same piece so this was quite an adventure for us both! Nick painted the landscape and I added deer, birds and a rabbit!
