It was a long day at yesterday's MIGOP State Convention! After each round of voting, the Audit Committee went to work validating the results of the tabulated votes.
This afternoon, the Michigan State Republican Party's State Committee met to "certify" the results of yesterday's Endorsement Convention. As a member of the State Committee, I was one of 63 individuals who voted to accept and certify the convention report as presented by the Audit Committee, chaired by Senator Ruth Johnson.
As I've said throughout the cycle, Republican Party Precinct Delegates, not party leadership, should get to pick their party's nominees and yesterday they made their voices clear!

The final results of yesterday's convention are:
- Attorney General: Matthew DePerno
- Secretary of State: Kristina Karamo
- Michigan Supreme Court: Brian Zahra and Paul Hudson
- Michigan State Board of Trustees: Travis Menge and Mike Balow
- University of Michigan Regent: Sevag Vartanian and Lena Epstein
- Wayne State Board of Governors: Craig Wilsher and Christa Murphy
- State Board of Education: Tamara D. Carlone and Linda Lee Tarver
Congratulations to all of the candidates who ran successful races yesterday!
It's now on to November, where we must defeat Gretchen Whitmer, Dana Nessel, and Jocelyn Benson! Oh, and ensure that we return a conservative majority to our State Supreme Court!
