Sagamore partner Emil Ekiyor grew up in Nigeria and his family sent him to the US for high school to give him more opportunity. He soon found that Americans had a system to turn his raw athletic talent into a NFL football player. The JOK Charitable Fund is a charitable fund created by Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, NFL linebacker for the Cleveland Browns to support community and economic development opportunities in the US and Africa.
DALE DAWSON, RWANDAN CITIZEN
Sagamore partner Dale Dawson was made a Rwandan citizen following his decades-long service to President Kagame and other partners in establishing a Kigali-based bank, a fellowship program for several hundred of the country’s most talented youth to study abroad, and a growing set of enterprises to fust foreign-direct investment in the country. FARM-TO-MARKET TRANSPORT WITH BASIC UTILITY VEHICLES
Sagamore provided an Indiana-based Basic Utility Vehicle to Dale Dawson’s Rwanda farm to accelerate their agriculture-and-economic development vision.
