INNOVATIVE IDEAS. REAL RESULTS.
Sagamore Solutions is a monthly e-newsletter featuring efforts to advance our core mission: to build and implement solutions to society's biggest problems.
When think tanks focus on international development, they typically produce reports or hold conference much like government does. Sagamore’s scholars and partners are engaged in policy upstream but we are also actively advancing solutions downstream as well. Please see a collection of stories below featuring Sagamore’s work in Africa.

The experiment was sorely tested by two civil wars and given recent hope by the first female president elected on the continent of Africa. Sagamore partner Emil Ekiyor grew up in Nigeria and his family sent him to the US for high school to give him more opportunity. He soon found that Americans had a system to turn his raw athletic talent into a NFL football player. Emil now operates InnoPower to build the same opportunities for minority entrepreneurs that athletes and entertainers experience. Click here to read more about Emil.
