An earlier version of this newsletter had the wrong date for the Hillsboro marching band info session; Tuesday, April 26, is the correct date.

Dollywood Trip Info Meeting for 8th Grade Parents (Virtual)

Info Session for 2023 Galapagos Island Trip (Virtual)

Mr. Strong is hosting a Teams meeting to answer all your questions about his upcoming educational tour of the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador! This once-in-a-lifetime trip is open to all West End students and their families and will take place next March during spring break. Click here to join.

Hillsboro Marching Band Info Night (In Person)

Tuesday, April 26, 6 PM, at Hillsboro High School
This meeting is mostly for parents but is also intended to start getting 8th graders excited about high school band. There will also be current high school students and parents attending, as most of them have never marched either. After a presentation about marching band, pep band, rehearsal schedule, and financial commitments, there will be an opportunity to get some important paperwork done.

First Day to Order a Yearbook Online

Saturday, April 30
Beginning Saturday, April 30, you will be able to order the combined 2020-21 and 2021-22 yearbook for $28 at https://osp.osmsinc.com/Nashville/. Orders must be received by May 10. (If you ordered a yearbook last year, you should have received an email from Ms. Ketchum regarding your options. If you have any questions or would like to request a refund, email patricia.ketchum@mnps.org.)

Year-End Picnic in the Park

The school year is almost over—can you believe it? Let’s celebrate the fact that we all made it through in one piece and ring in summer! Come enjoy a picnic dinner with other West End families in Elmington Park on Monday, May 16, from 6 to 8 PM. Bring a blanket, dinner, and maybe some sports equipment to share. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces!

Hillsboro Football Info Night

Tuesday, May 17, 6 PM, Hillsboro Auditorium
At this meeting for parents and players, the summer/fall calendar and program expectations will be discussed. Summer practice/workouts start June 1 and run 8-11 AM, Monday through Thursday.
