Coffee Fellowship Ministry
From Sally Trigg, Coordinator

I have taken on responsibility for arranging for coffee/tea/munchies between Sunday services at St. Luke, and I would like to ask for your assistance.
We are planning on providing coffee, hot water/tea bags for tea, donut holes, a fruit tray, and a veggie tray. We want gluten-free and diabetic attendees to all have munchies that they can enjoy. I will be setting up the coffee and hot water and picking up the donut holes each Sunday before the first service.

Would you be willing to provide help with one of the following?
  • Once every 2 months, provide a fruit tray or a veggie tray that you can deliver to the church on Sunday by 9:00 am?
  • Once every 2 months, clean up the goodie table and unplug the coffee and tea containers after the last service
If yes, please send me an email at sallydtrigg@gmail.com or sign up on the goldenrod sheet with your:
  • Name and contact information (phone number; email)
  • Task(s) you would like to take on
  • Sundays in the next 4 months that you will not be able to support this effort
  • Communication: Let me know how you would like me to contact you (email/text/phone call)
Thank you.

For Our Community, Country and the World
We pray for All Faiths Children's Advocacy Center: Healing Kids & Families in Crisis, our Bucket of Change recipient for April 2022. Accredited by the National Children’s Alliance, All Faiths provides a child-friendly facility where law enforcement, child protection, family advocacy, therapy, and training offer children and their caregivers safety and a road to healing and recovery; it also provides adoption services. https://www.allfaiths.org/

Because our Lord Jesus commanded us to pray for our enemies and those who persecute us, we ask you, Lord to always remind us that you created them in your image, that Christ died for them, that they are beloved of God just like us, so that we might with sincerity pray, Lord have mercy on them.

Give your angels charge over those in our prayers, Lord. Tend the sick, give energy to the caregivers, rest the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, be with those who travel and give strength and courage to those who do your work. In your love, give us all these, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
