Data Visualization Using R

In addition to benefiting reproducibility and transparency, one of the advantages of using R is that researchers have a much larger range of fully customizable data visualizations options than are typically available in point-and-click software because of the open-source nature of R. In this tutorial, we provide a practical introduction to data visualization using R specifically aimed at researchers who have little to no prior experience of using R.

The 24th International Conference on Computational Statistics (COMPSTAT 2022) will take place at the University of Bologna, Italy, 23-26 August 2022.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be hybrid. All topics within the broad interface of Computing & Statistics will be considered for oral and poster presentation.

COVID-19 and Public Health
|
|
|
Miguel Angel Luque and Aurelio Tobias published a paper entitled "The Management of the COVID- 19 Pandemic Evidences the Need to Transform Spain’s Public Health Education". This article is based in a multi-country study examined excess mortality in 2020 across five European countries showing that excess mortality in 2020 varied widely between countries and within countries, and says that public health in Spain was not efficient during the first pandemic waves.
