Join Us on April 28 at 7 pm ET for Support & Success: How To Be Your Own Best Advocate

Join WNDB for a professional development event, "Support & Success: How to Be Your Own Best Advocate." The panel will take place virtually on April 28 at 7 pm ET. Secure your spot with a virtual ticket!

We will be exploring how to define success at your job and how to ask your manager for the support that you need to be successful. We'll talk about the various paths there are to working in publishing, setting boundaries at work, managing burnout, advocating for yourself and managing your workload, asking for raises and promotions, and more.

This panel will be moderated by WNDB Program Manager Alaina Lavoie and include panelists Sanj Kharbanda, Associate Publisher, Beacon Press; Bev Rivero, Senior Publicist, Beacon Press; Flannery Wiest, Editorial Assistant, Disney Publishing; Esther Cajahuaringa, Senior Editor, Union Square Kids; and Mikayla Lawrence, Production Editor, HarperCollins.

This is the first event for WNDB's new program, Rise Up, designed to support mid-career adult and children's publishing industry professionals. We hope you can join us!
