Announcing the Alameda PostCast!

I am very excited and proud to announce the release of the first episode of the Alameda PostCast, the Alameda Post’s new weekly news digest podcast! Scott Piehler is a veteran broadcaster who recently moved to Alameda from metro Atlanta. Every Friday morning, we will post a new episode, covering the most important news from the past week, and information about the week ahead. Each episode will be around five to ten minutes in length.

City Approves Continuing CARE Team

After AFD Chief Nick Luby's update, Alameda's City Council voted to continue the CARE program through June 30, 2023. Karin K. Jensen reports.

Alameda Marina Infrastructure Plans Approved

APD Investigating Suspicious Death

Alameda Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was discovered near Blanding Avenue and Broadway. They would like to identify this minivan, likely a 1998-2002 Toyota Sienna, last seen driving out the Posey Tube.
