Georgetown Earth Day and Community Clean Up

Thanks to everyone who joined the Citizens Association of Georgetown Earth Day event and Community Clean-up this past Sunday!
Open containers of alcohol are prohibited outside of your private property at all times.
It is illegal for anyone to possess an open alcohol container in public spaces, e.g. sidewalks, streets, alleyways, parking lots, etc.  MPD actively enforces the open container law in the Georgetown area.  Beyond this being a misdemeanor violation in the District of Columbia, it's also a violation of the Code of Student Conduct.

Register here!

After two years of COVID, we're excited to announce that The DC Chocolate Festival is BACK! Please join us for a day of chocolate education and enjoyment at the La Maison Française at the Embassy of France in Washington DC!

Our partnership with the La Maison Française allows us to use their gorgeous light-filled event venue and offer delicious chocolate sampling and education opportunities!

This event seeks to bring together both chocolate makers and chocolate enthusiasts for a day of tastings, educational micro workshops. The DC Chocolate Festival features incredible chocolate confections, treats, beverages, and craft chocolate bars from across the local area and the world!

For everybody to have a safe and wonderful experience, all guests need to follow the COVID guidelines of both the DC government and the French Embassy. At this point, we require all participants age 12+ to show proof of vaccination. Out of consideration for everyone, wearing a mask is encouraged. Thanks for your understanding!

Keith & Margo's
Murder at Maggiano's presents,
"Motive, Means and Maggiano's"

This is every detective's fantasy come true-an opportunity for people with a passion for murder mysteries...slippery red herrings...diabolical clues...and ingenious detective work to get plunked smack-dab in the middle of a hilarious homicide investigation.

Enjoy the atmosphere and fabulous cuisine of Maggiano's Little Italy but remember...you could become the leading suspect!

Maintain your yard and the public space adjacent to it!
Notice overgrown weeds and grass coming in as the weather gets warmer? Overgrown weeds and grass can be unsightly and, among other things, a hiding place for rats.

Your lease should say whether or not your landlord provides yard maintenance services for your property. If you, the tenant, are responsible for yard maintenance, ONL has a lawn mower, weed spray, gloves, and more for you to borrow!  Just stop by the office to check out the necessary supplies

Avoid getting a city ticket or a University citation and maintain your yards and (if you have one) the tree boxes adjacent to your property.  Pages 20 & 24 in the Hoya Neighborhood Living Guide cover property maintenance at your off-campus rental.

Thank you for helping to maintain your property in the neighborhood!
