FACE TO FACE: INTERNATIONAL
April 1-30, 2022
Join us for the Closing Reception this
Friday, April 29, 5:30-7:00pm

For 4 years, The Bridge has used our Face to Face portrait program to connect artists and community members one-on-one, resulting in an ever-growing collection of portraits showcasing a diverse and vibrant Charlottesville through the eyes of its artists. This last year, we partnered with Speak! Language Center and the Charlottesville Sister Cities Commission to adapt this program for international participation with sister/friendship cities around the world. These cities included, Besançon, France, Poggio a Caiano, Italy, Winneba, Ghana, and Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Two participants from each city were selected to be paired with Charlottesville area artists, Tori Cherry, Nicholas Hall, Jae Johnson, Chicho Lorenzo, Ramona Martinez, Sarah Miller, Erin Root, and Bryce Yates. All portraits and biographical info will be exhibited in April in our Belmont neighborhood art gallery prior to being gifted to the sister/friendship city participants. Come experience these portraits before they ship off!
REVEL is Back!
May 7, 2022

Gear up, Happy Campers!

REVEL returns Saturday May 7th! Join us for a rowdy evening of camp themed revelry! Revel is our legendary spring party, where all of Charlottesville’s best people converge to celebrate a lust for creativity, connection, and a bit of silliness. This year we will be hosting the event at the beautiful home of our partner's at Visible Records. Dance party, karaoke, arts & crafts, and an art auction, —these are just a few of the things we have in store for this year’s festivities. Dont forget to buy your tickets!
Tickets available here.

We are also excited to present the artwork that will be included in our silent auction at Camp Revel.

The pieces included celebrate diversity in voices and perspectives, something that we at The Bridge highly value. We are honored to invite you to bring these pieces into your own collection in support of our organization and our mission of bridging diverse communities through the arts. You can also submit absentee bids, so please share this to your wider community!
