Book Sale in aid of Church of St Anne's roof

There will be a book sale from 11am-4pm this Thursday at Church Cottage (next door to the church), Church Street, Wyre Piddle.

We asked villagers to donate good books for us to sell in aid of the repair of St Anne's roof. Tiles on the north side (you can see from the path) have deteriorated. The repair estimate is around £800. So we are starting off with a book sale and then will sell books from the church porch with an honesty box for donations.

We have a great variety of over 200 good quality books for sale (cash or cheque), so you are welcome to come along to browse.

You might like to call in to St Anne's to see the lovely Easter lilies, given in memory of loved ones.
