Spring has arrived in Earl's Court! Underbelly Festival is once again taking place at the famous old Earl’s Court event site in summer 2022. A summer festival of affordable and accessible live entertainment for the local community and wider West London audience, Underbelly offers a host of free and ticketed events and a great outdoor atmosphere. The events will run from 12 May – 16 July and the site will be open six days per week.

Underbelly are looking for a local food traders to join the sensational staycation event site. To apply, traders must have:

Their own hut or converted vehicle to sell out of (Gazebos cannot be accepted)
Documentation including Public Liability, Food Hygiene Registration & relevant documentation if selling food, Gas Safety Certificate, Risk Assessment Form including Covid Risk Assessment
The festival is unable to accommodate business or traders that wish to sell alcohol (off or on sales).
The costs are 20% of income plus recharges that include power & water.

Business Improvement Districts in RBKC

Businesses in Brompton Road and Kings Road areas recently voted overwhelmingly in favour of establishing a Business Improvement District for both areas. Brompton Road BID became operational on 1 October 2021 which will see an investment of £6m five-year programme of improvements for the district. Kings Road BID will go live on the 1 April 2022 will see an investment of £4m five-year programme of improvements for the district. (*A Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led and businesses funded body formed to improve a defined commercial area).
