#WalkWednesday: A weekly prompt to take a few minutes to wander, be present & ponder.

41: How is walking important to you?

On today’s walk, in honour of National Walking Month starting next week, ponder what walking does for you.

Consider how walking affects your health, mindset, thinking processes, relationships and connection with your environment. As you wander, notice how walking makes you feel. Be aware of the impact of your walk on the rest of your day too.
 

Walking makes me happy. Walking is a place I can go to anytime; to feel good, have space, gain perspective and have ideas. When I walk with other people I feel really connected and inspired. Walking is also how I explore my environment. It’s how I belong to London - as a wanderer.
How to #WalkWednesday:

WANDER. wherever you are - through the park, up the road, or round your room.
BE PRESENT. Take 3 deep breaths. Really notice the environment around you. Be aware of how you're feeling today.
PONDER. Gently reflect on the #WalkWednesday question.
