St. Bernadette Relic Tour
|
|
For the first time ever, the relics of St. Bernadette will tour the United States, visiting 34 parishes in 23 dioceses. Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta is pleased to host the relics from May 1–May 4.

Faith Formation Registration

Faith Formation Registration is Open / Sacramental Preparation Programs are 2-year programs.
|
|
In accordance with the Archdiocese of Atlanta, all sacramental programs are two years. The Archdioceses considers 2nd Grade the Norm for celebrating Reconciliation and First Holy
Communion. Children wishing to receive these sacraments in the second grade must be enrolled in the Faith Formation program during his or her first grade. Likewise, the Archdioceses considers 10th Grade the Norm for celebrating Confirmation. Teens wishing to receive the sacrament in the tenth grade must be enrolled during their 9th grade. If children enroll after either 1st or 9th grade, their program is still a two-year program and sacraments will only be celebrated after the two years of Faith Formation have been completed.
Faith Formation Registration is Open. We encourage all school-aged children to attend. We have classes for Kindergarten through 12th grade. Forms are available on the website, www.stfac.org. Please register early, fees will increase on June 1st. If you have any questions, please contact the Faith Formation Office.

De acuerdo por la Arquidiócesis de Atlanta, todos los programas sacramentales son de dos años. La Arquidiócesis considera que el 2º Grado es el año apropiado para celebrar la Reconciliación y la Primera Comunión. Por lo tanto, los niños que deseen recibir los sacramentos en el segundo grado deben inscribirse en el programa de Formación en la Fe durante el Primer Grado. Del mismo modo, la Arquidiócesis considera que el 10º Grado es el año Normal para celebrar la Confirmación. Por lo tanto, los adolescentes que deseen recibir la Confirmación en el décimo grado deben inscribirse durante el 9º grado. Si los niños se inscriben después de 1er o 9no grado, su programa sigue siendo un programa de dos años y los sacramentos solo se celebrarán después de que se hayan
completado los dos años de Formación en la Fe.
Ya estamos Registrando para Formacion de Fe. Recomendamos registrar a todos los niños que ya tengan la edad para entrar a la escuela. Tenemos clases para KInder hasta el Grado 12. Las Formas de registro estan disponibles en la pagina de internet www.stfac.org o pueden recojer un paquete de registro en la oficina de la parroquia . NEW Adult Faith Formation

Join us in St. Simon after the 10 am Mass this Sunday
Friend of a Friend discussion group will meet at 11:00 am, following the 10:00 am Mass. Join us for spiritual enrichment, ideas, and encouragement from your friends in the parish. No registration is required. All adults are welcome.

Save the Date VBS is around the corner – June 20 -24th 9 am -12pm.
We need lots of volunteers of all ages to help the children of the parish have a Barnyard Fun summer learning about God.
There are Games, Crafts, Snacks, Music, and more – something for everyone.
Middle and High School students are also welcome to help.
If you are interested please let the Faith Formation Department know.

Registration is open and forms can be found on the website or in the Narthex.
There will be a volunteer meeting on Wednesday, June 1st – if you are interested in helping (teens and adults).
