Attention Parents! We are having a Tomato Plant Sale at the office! They will be available for purchase starting May 2nd for as long as they are available! Half of all money will go back to our current 4th grade class! Each plant is $6. Stop by and pick up some organic tomato starters for your garden!

Do you wonder why different grade level classes fundraise throughout the year? Grade level fundraising is organized by each class to support their 4th grade Sacramento and 6th grade Science Camp field trips. The 6th grade class also pays for their graduation dance and a school gift. School gifts often take the form of beautiful murals on our campus. For more information please click here,

We are just about out of hangers on the rack. So we will be doing some Spring cleaning next week and donate any un-labeled lost and found jackets, outerwear and clothing tomorrow April 29th.  Come check out the lost and found racks and boxes for any items your child may have lost.

Parent Input Form - Class Placements 2022-2023
Please make note of this important message and link. We have created a Parent Input Google Form related to Class Placements for the 2022-2023 School YearWe don't take specific teacher requests, but do welcome parent input regarding a number of other factors.  This form will be open through April 30th.  We will start the class-building process in May, so now is the time to share any important information you think we need to know. You may request a hard copy of this form by calling our office at 831-728-7836.

Monday, May 2nd - 6th is Teacher Appreciation Week. Let’s show our TERRIFIC TEACHERS and SUPER STAFF some love this coming week.

Home and School Club has partnered with Mrs. Lane to develop a list of fun ideas to show teacher and staff appreciation for each day of the Teacher Appreciation Week.

MONDAY, MAY 2nd: The Home and School Club will host a yogurt and berry parfait making station in the staff room. YUM!

TUESDAY, MAY 3rd: MAKE A CLASS BOUQUET - Each student is encouraged to bring one flower (any flower!) to create a beautiful bouquet!  We’ll provide the vases.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 4th: The Home and School Club will host a baked potato bar lunch for Valencia’s entire staff. We are so grateful for the faithful support of this vital parent club!

THURSDAY, MAY 5th: MAKE A CLASSROOM SUPPLY BOX or SUPPLY THE TEACHER WITH A GIFT CARD to PURCHASE SUPPLIES - Each student is encouraged to bring in one school supply (pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, sticky notes, dry-erase markers, etc.).  Home and School Club will help with providing a container.

FRIDAY, MAY 6th: MAKE A “SUPERSTAR TEACHER CARD” - handmade cards are the perfect way to tell your teacher you care. Come to the office and ask Amie or Marilyn if you need art supplies or card ideas.

Thank you for showing our teachers how much we appreciate the work they do each day!

The Valencia Home and School Club is looking for parents to join the Board of Directors for 2022-2023. You can join by attending our last Home and School Club meeting of the year on May 17th and volunteer for one of the open positions on the board: President, Secretary, Treasurer, V.P. of Fundraising and more. We support Valencia by volunteering our time to organize fundraisers and other events. The support we provide the school won't continue without new volunteers, so consider joining our group. Contact Angela Mendenhall with questions at
