CTTE 2022 - Important Reminders
View this email in your browser

Hello CTTE Cruisers!

With just a couple days to go, we thought it was important that we checked in to make sure you have everything you need for the Cruise to the Edge 2022. Be sure to read this now and keep referring to it until you are 100% confident you are prepared to sail.

If you haven't already, CLICK HERE to read our previous correspondence regarding the details and requirements for COVID-19 testing. The most important takeaways are:
  • Everyone MUST take a COVID-19 test within 2 days of sailing and provide proof of the negative result.

  • Tests can be taken starting todayApril 30th or as late as May 2nd

  • Make sure you will get the results before you arrive at the port.

  • Your COVID-19 test must be either a PCR or an Antigen test - both options must be supervised by a health professional.

  • We highly recommend a rapid/Antigen test as  you can receive results quickly whereas PCR results do take time.

  • STANDARD AT - HOME TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED - for a list of accepted tests - CLICK HERE.

  • False positives are always a possibility. We recommend you test again, if you are able to.

  • DO NOT come to the port if you have tested positive for COVID-19. You will not be allowed to enter the terminal/board the ship. There are no refunds.

  • International Guests: Please make sure you are familiar with all the testing requirements your country/airline requires for both leaving your country and returning.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you have successfully boarded the ship, you WILL NOT be tested again onboard unless you go to the onboard hospital AND specifically request to be tested. Please understand that if you do test positive, you will be required to follow any and all quarantine requirements that are imposed by Royal Caribbean, both on the ship as well as following our arrival to Port Canaveral.

Obviously, if you are ill, you have the option of going to the onboard hospital. Once again, we cannot advise you on your own medical decisions, but please note that asking for a COVID test in the onboard hospital could subject you to quarantine if you receive a positive test result.

We highly suggest making sure you bring all necessary medications you may need for allergies, headaches, nausea and the common cold in order to limit any unnecessary visits to the onboard medical facility.

If you are still needing testing options, CLICK HERE for details on testing options.

The following items are MANDATORY when checking in at the port. You will be denied boarding should you fail to properly comply or provide these items during embarkation.

DON'T GET LEFT BEHIND!
MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED -  NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Citizenship Documents:
Passport, Proper Identification, Visas, etc. You  are leaving the country and you must be prepared with all the necessary required documents - Click HERE for more details.

  • Proof of your NEGATIVE COVID-19 test results:
Remember, your test must be taken starting TODAY, April 30th and your test has to meet the requirements listed HERE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • We HIGHLY suggest printing or taking a screen shot of your NEGATIVE results as WIFI is unreliable at the port.

  • Proof of Vaccination:
IMPORTANT!!! Not only do you need to upload your vaccination information to Royal Caribbean's app during your check-in, but you will also need to present the original, physical copy of your vaccination card during Embarkation. Whatever you were issued as proof of vaccination from your medical provider, this must be with you in its original form during embarkation
*** Bring your original vaccination card
with you to the terminal! ***

Safety Video/Muster Drill: As soon as it is available on the Royal Caribbean App, be sure to watch the safety video and then once on board, go to your Muster Station (shown on both the App and your Set Sail Pass) to finalize the process.

Check-in: Don't forget to check-in. Online check-in will end soon so be sure to do this ASAP. Remember, this could be the difference between a 5 and a 15 minute check-in - so be sure to get this done!

Luggage Tags: If you were not able to print your luggage tags, not to worry! Porters at the Terminal will be able to assist you. Be sure to have your cabin number handy and remember that tips are always appreciated for their hard work!

Gratuities: Gratuities are included in your fare for the cruise. These will NOT be reversed for any reason. That being said, many of these men and women work extremely hard so if anyone goes above and beyond, cash tips are always more than welcome!

Guest Laminate Pickup:
ALL GUESTS will need to pick up laminates on Embarkation Day from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. All guests MUST pick up their laminate before 4:00 pm at the following locations:
