It’s time to take action!
At today’s San Diego County Human Relations Commission (HRC) meeting, our LGBTQ community and our allies will be calling in during public comment to ask for the removal of Commissioner Dennis Hodges, for his repeated transphobic and homophobic comments.
Please register before 9am and call in at 10am to make your voice heard!

Then at 10AM, join the Zoom meeting and wait to speak during the non-agenda public comment (Item 5) to express support for removing Commissioner Hodges from the commission.

Commission Hodges' statements demonstrate that he is unfit to serve as a commissioner and should be removed for cause. Hateful rhetoric targeted toward the LGBTQ community causes real harm, and it has no place in our community, especially from appointed and elected officials who are called to serve the human rights of all San Diegans.
We are grateful to our community members for their continued advocacy on this issue.
