Fourth & Fifth Sunday of Easter / 8th & 15th May 2022 - Issue 99

Hello <<First Name>>,

May is the month of Mary..... such a beautiful time.
What courage Mary had to do what she felt was the right thing to do.
As we celebrate all that is beautifully Marian this month, let us not allow fear to overwhelm us and let us have the courage to do what needs to be done.

Pass this newsletter onto a friend (or stranger!) and encourage others to sign up so they can be connected.

FAITH GATHERINGS

Fourth Sunday of Easter

"I know my sheep and they follow me."
Jesus tells us that we can rely on his relationship with us.
Jesus says that the disciple is one who listens.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, risen from the dead, guide us to listen deeply to your voice, your word, that we may know you and, that knowing you, we may enjoy life in abundance, now and into eternity with you. Amen.

Fifth Sunday of Easter

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another."
For believers, it is no surprise that the very thing we need most stands at the centre of the Christian faith: God is love. If we took that really to heart, many things would change: our practice of prayer, our relationships, our joy in believing, our way of sharing our faith, our living of discipleship.

Prayer
You are love itself and yet we hesitate. Open our inner selves to your gracious loving, that we may ourselves as beloved and being loved we may learn to love in return. Amen.
