Open Farm Sunday is on 12th June 2022
Dear Neighbours,
As you will know there is a lot of interest in what farmers and land managers are doing on the land, and how the challenges of agricultural transition are affecting us following Brexit, not to mention the increased pressure from public visiting the countryside on the doorstep during the Pandemic, and I'd like to say the renewed interest in food security given the current terrible happenings in Ukraine.
There is a huge demand for us to engage with the public, and we are responding with a small ticketed Open Farm Sunday event on 12th June, and this is a courtesy email to let you know in advance of the day.
Parking will be in the field by the wood, and the event will be in part of the field above the wood, alongside our Foot of the Downs venture, which we are also keen to publicise among our local audience. We will be showcasing what we are doing on our land on the weald, with some equipment on display, some demonstrations and tractor and trailer rides; we will be making no charge, but will invite charity donations
We will also be offering some simple refreshments. Do please get in touch with Angela if interested in coming along.
