The Transitional Bike Path from Newtown to the waterfront is taking shape. On Thursday 19th May from 8am till 10.30am the WCC Team will be on the corner of Riddiford and Green Street outside the old ANZ Bank to answer questions about the project.
Pop by for a chance to ask about the installation and the changes that are happening, check out the routes, the materials being used and find out how you can provide feedback about the new lanes once they’re installed and in use.

The Newtown New World Renovations are almost done!
We congratulate our local supermarket on their new look, and thank them for their support of the Newtown community.
Most recently NWN helped with providing BBQ supplies for the 'Wiggle for Wellbeing' free concert yesterday - Saturday 12th May - which was very much appreciated!  They have also been a generous sponsor of Newtown Festival for many years, and support lots of other local initiatives.
After 7 long months of disruption the work is nearing completion - check it out! https://www.facebook.com/NewWorldNewtown/
