Dear (aspiring) Effective Altruist,
We're emailing you today to share a unique opportunity for students!
Several of the new EA university chapters in the Netherlands will be participating in the University Group Accelerator Program (UGAP) this fall. This is a semester-long program that provides a mentor, workshops and financial compensation for students who launch a university chapter.
However, we're still looking for founders for chapters in:
- Twente
- Nijmegen
- Tilburg
- Wageningen
- Leiden (not the Hague)
- the universities of applied sciences
If you're an EA-interested student at one of those universities, we'd be keen to discuss the opportunity to start a group with you. Please email to info@effectiefaltruisme.nl if this sounds interesting. We're happy to upskill you before the deadline of UGAP on July 25th (e.g. facilitate a tailored fellowship for you - as sufficient background knowledge is an entry requirement).
We look forward to speaking with you!
-- Amarins and James
PS. Students who get accepted will not only get access to the resources provided by UGAP, but also get support from EAN. For example, we recently organized a retreat where the organizers came together to bond, share best practices and learn more about topics such as public speaking, CRM systems and more.
