MazalWAKE, Jewish Pre-Orientation August 14 -16, 2022
MazalWAKE is a fun three-day pre-orientation to college and to Jewish life at Wake Forest. It is a perfect way to get to know your new school & form an instant friend group. Activities led by Hillel student leaders include a challah French toast breakfast, a tour of the campus, a milkshake dinner with the dean of students, meals with Jewish faculty & staff (and their families), and exploration of Winston-Salem. The Rosalyn Saltz and Norman Seymour Pliner Scholarship Fund Due May 31 If you reside in North or South Carolina and are attending college as a full-time student, apply to get financial assistance of up to $3,000! The selected recipient must demonstrate a commitment to advancing women in leadership roles and show commitment and involvement in their chosen field. We want to thank Caroline, our first student newsletter editor and marketing intern, for her outstanding job in revamping and editing our weekly e-newsletter. Caroline will be studying aboard in Florence, Italy next term, so Sofia T will take over in the fall. After next week, this newsletter will be on hiatus.
