Update: ACMP Advanced Practitioners Presentation Series
Back by popular demand!
In 2021, we launched a series of sessions led by community members to support change leadership competency. These sessions leveraged the significant depth and breadth of knowledge from advanced change practitioners in our own chapter.
Thank you to all those who presented sessions last year and to those who recently volunteered their time to brainstorm topics and approaches for the 2022-2023 series.

What’s happening this year
We are making a few changes to the session series based on feedback to include:
  • New formats such as facilitated panels, case studies, presentations, and design labs, to boost member conversations so we can learn from each other
  • Focused topic categories of ‘Information’ or ‘Inspiration’ to enable presenters more flexibility in how they approach and structure their content
We are in the final stages of confirming the list of topics for upcoming sessions and will be sharing a final list with you soon.

Topics we are exploring for the new sessions include:
  • Resiliency and change practice mindfulness
  • Change management book reviews
  • My toughest change challenge and lessons learned
  • Identifying and measuring behaviours
  • Lessons in supporting active and engaged leadership
  • Defining and aligning to success
Join us for the first session
In the meantime, join us for the first session of the new series on June 6 with a panel discussion with UBC Change Management Instructors sharing their highlights, lessons learned and words of wisdom. Please see the event details below.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming sessions!
Event: UBC Change Management Instructors Panel Discussion
In 2018 the UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies approached the ACMP Greater Vancouver Chapter to form an advisory committee to provide input into the development of a Change Management associate certificate program. Four of our advanced practitioners were hired to develop the content for the four program modules.  The program launched in 2019 and the advanced practitioners have successfully been delivering the content over the past 3 years.  In this panel discussion, you will meet the four instructors who will share their highlights, lessons learned and words of wisdom.
Panel:
Date and Time: June 6, 2022; 6:00pm - 7:00pm

This virtual (zoom) session is appropriate for beginner change practitioners and is open to all current ACMP Vancouver members. Members will receive an email with further information and registration details.
Event Recap: Elevate Change Success with Prosci Methodology Enhancements
On May 2nd, we hosted a session with Prosci to share what's new and different with the enhanced Prosci Methodology. If you missed the session, click here to see an article about the seven key enhancements by Lisa Kempton.

We took a poll at the end of the session and a number of participants were interested in attending a one-day Prosci Methodology Application Program if an ACMP discount is offered. We are exploring options with Prosci and will provide any updates when more information is available. Stay tuned!
Event: Conversations with Change Practitioners
We continue to host the Conversations with Change Practitioners sessions monthly as it's one of our most loved events!

This member-only event is on the first Friday of every month from 8 - 9am. Grab a coffee and join in an engaging conversation with your peers!

Information about each session is sent to our members by email. You can also find the details on our LinkedIn page close to the date.
