Seeking Volunteers for Summer Camp
Last year, the LA Lighting Speakers Bureau participated in the National Organization of Minority Architects SoCal summer camp, which included a lighting module for the first time. Lauren Dandridge and Kate Furst did a bang-up job last year with the online version. We’re reprising this effort – hopefully a long-term relationship – for the in-person camp this year.
We’ve had good response, but we’re still looking for a bunch of volunteers for the camp in July. If you're ready to open a young person's eyes to the magic of lighting, please sign up now. And If you have emerging professionals at your firm or in your friend group, we hope you will encourage one and all to participate.
Between just us and Mailchimp, a lot of the other volunteers and supporters of the camp come from major architecture firms in here in LA
