Teen Advisory Board

Teens - do you want to have a say in what happens at YOUR library? Every TAB (Teen Advisory Board) meeting is a chance to hang out, talk about how to make the Library (even more) awesome, make something rad, and maybe even help the Library in the process. In May, we'll be painting rocks (to help us prepare for a Summertime Scavenger Hunt in the Garden!). Meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month, inside Queset House in the First Floor Presentation Room, and are open to anyone aged 12-18. This month's meeting is on May 18th, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Beat Jimmy: Practice

Ask yourself: do you have what it takes? Teens age 12-18 are invited to see if they can beat our own James Pires, a professional e-sports coach and collegiate-level competitor who was once ranked in the top 0.2% of League of Legends players in North America, at his own game! Weekly practices are loose and unstructured, and will take place in the Teen Den every Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. On the 4th Wednesday of the month, test your skills by facing off against Jimmy himself. We'll be featuring a new game every month, so there will always be another chance to prove your mettle. May's game is Players' Choice.

Color Me Calm

Color Me Calm is a weekly opportunity for teens to decompress, wind down, and chill. Bask in the rainbow glow of (artificial) candlelight; listen to soothing ocean sounds and deep, rhythmic bass; and brighten up your world with watercolor markers, colored pencils, and Sharpies. We'll supply the materials - just bring yourself and leave your stress and worries behind. This program is for patrons age 12-18 only. Spring sessions will normally meet every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room in Queset House.

Find Help at The Easton Food Pantry

Hopefully you never experience what is now commonly called “food insecurity.”  But there are many unforeseen reasons why it can happen, and – with no judgement – your neighbors at the Easton Food Pantry are there to help.

There are absolutely no financial requirements to obtain food from the Pantry.  You simply must be an Easton resident and show proof with a recent bill (utility, etc.) that has both your full name and address.  Call in advance to register at 781-333-6284.
