Sandemonium LiteBeware, Friday the 13th! This week has some great events to keep your mind off it. To start off, you can join the Full Draw Film Tour at the Panida on Thursday, May 12. Next up are two events for Saturday, May 14Sandemonium Lite, the self-proclaimed event for nerds, which is being held at the East Bonner County Library, or if sailing is more your schtick, you can join in on 'The Weekend Sailor' playing at the Panida. There is plenty more fun to be had in, and around town from art classes to educational presentations. Enjoy all Sandpoint has to offer!

• The heavens: Full moon, Sun. Watch for the so-called "blood moon" total lunar eclipse Sun evening. Maximum eclipse begins at 9:11 p.m. and ends at 9:32 p.m.
• Rising and setting: Sunrise 5:10 a.m., Sunset 8:14 p.m.; 21 minutes of daylight gained this week.
 Air quality: Good thru Sat. 
 Lake level: Spring refill is under way; Lake Pend Oreille is currently 2,056.99 feet above sea level, forecast to rise to 2,057.89 feet by next Tues.
 Streamflows: Warmer weather encourages runoff; Moyie River currently 2,720 CFS, up from 1,190 CFS last Tues. Priest River currently 4,080 CFS, up from 2,190 CFS last Tues.
• Sandpoint forecast: Get your yard work done Tues and Wed, which look to be our only sunny days before it returns to a gloomy and wet week that may even carry a small possibility of snow on Fri and Sat. Those sunny days bring with them a chance of frost Tues and Wed evenings, and possibly Fri as well.
