Community Alert: Wanted for Attempt Child Luring 020th District

About This Crime:

On Monday, May 9, 2022, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a 12 year old female juvenile walking west bound on the 2600 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue towards Jamieson Elementary School grounds located at 5650 N. Mozart Street. Prior to the start of school, she was approached by a dark complexion male with facial hair whom was operating a white, Honda, sedan, 4 doors, with black flames on the exterior passenger lower side panel doors. He signaled her to come to him with his hand, with the intention of luring her to him. He then continued to follow her in his vehicle.

The victim did not engage in conversation and fled to the safety of Jamieson School where she notified the staff members. Furthermore, the vehicle circled the school several times and parked in front of school grounds on Mozart Street for an undisclosed amount of time.

About The Offender: The male was described as a dark complexion male with facial hair, unknown age, height and weight, with short dark hair. Offender was wearing a white short sleeve shirt.

Weapons Used: None

Offender Vehicle: White, Honda, sedan, 4 doors, with black flames on the exterior passenger lower side panel doors.

Sobre este crimen:

El lunes 9 de mayo de 2022, aproximadamente a las 8:30 a. m., una menor de 12 años caminaba hacia el oeste en la cuadra 2600 de Bryn Mawr Avenue hacia los terrenos de la Escuela Primaria Jamieson ubicada en 5650 N. Mozart Street. Antes del comienzo de la escuela, se le acercó un hombre de tez oscura con vello facial que conducía un sedán Honda blanco de 4 puertas con llamas negras en las puertas del panel lateral inferior del pasajero exterior. Él le indicó que se acercara a él con la mano, con la intención de atraerla hacia él. Luego continuó siguiéndola en su vehículo.

La víctima no entabló conversación y huyó a la seguridad de la escuela Jamieson, donde notificó a los miembros del personal. Además, el vehículo rodeó la escuela varias veces y se estacionó frente a los terrenos de la escuela en la calle Mozart durante un tiempo no revelado.

Sobre el delincuente: El varón fue descrito como un varón de tez oscura con vello facial, edad, altura y peso desconocidos, con cabello oscuro corto. El agresor vestía una camiseta blanca de manga corta.
