Duke School of Nursing Launches New Faculty Cluster Hire to Address Social Determinants of Health
The Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Cluster Hire Initiative builds upon the strengths of current faculty in addressing health equity and community health, bringing a cluster of new researchers and practitioners to the school. The cohort will focus on mitigating the negative effects of SDOH, including the need to address racial equity and justice. Applications are now being accepted. 
Duke School of Nursing Gets to the Root of Health Education
Ragan Johnson, associate professor, is part of a research team that's studying how social networks, like those established through salons and barbershops, can disseminate important health information among African American men and women.

Duke School of Nursing Celebrates National Nurses Month
Dean Vincent Guilamo-Ramos addresses National Nurses Month, celebrating the essential role of nurses in the transformation of health care. In acknowledgement of the difference nurses make, the School of Nursing is designing, evaluating, and disseminating nurse-led models of health care that reimagine health care delivery.
Students, Faculty, Staff Celebrated in Annual Awards Ceremony
The School of Nursing hosted its annual ceremony to celebrate the excellence of its students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday, May 4. This was the first ceremony held in a hybrid fashion.
