Dear Colleague,
As we regroup from Covid-19, Kingston Voluntary Action wants to capture a new, up to date picture of the local voluntary and community sector.
After two of the most turbulent years and the dramatic impact they have had on our lives and lives of our organisations, there have inevitably been some changes in our local voluntary and community sector. We are all working in new ways, new projects and organisations have emerged in the borough and the environment around us is shifting faster than ever, bringing new challenges all the time.
It is important that we capture this new picture about the changed, but stronger VCSE sector we are lucky to have in Kingston.
We can only do this with your help, which is why I am approaching you with a request to complete this important survey.
About the survey
- Please note that we only need one survey per organisation and that the survey is best suited to the CEO, Manager, Coordinator or person responsible for running your organisation/group in Kingston
- It will take approximately 25 minutes to complete, so get a coffee and some biscuits ready before you start!
- You can save and return to your responses (more about it in the introduction of the survey)
- The survey will close on Friday 27th May 2022 at 6pm. Please put some reminders in your calendar
- You can familiarise yourself with the questions in advance by visiting www.kva.org.uk/news/state-of-the-sector-survey/ where you can download a Pdf of the questions, but please note you will still have to complete an online survey
- Get some information ready in advance: last year’s annual income; number of employees, volunteers and users and funding mix in percentage in the last financial year
