Make new friends but keep the old...
That’s what the song says — and that’s certainly been our M.O. the past few weeks as we met hundreds of kind, crafty folks at the Midwest Mountaineering Expo and Shepherd’s Harvest Festival. Thank you to everyone who said hello and shared your enthusiasm for our mission, classes and instructors. We can’t wait to see you again soon! (Congratulations to the basket winner, Richard, and the yarn winners, Lisa, Marcine, Kathryn, Karen, Doris, Beth, and Melissa! Yarn courtesy of trippinwithdixifiberco.com.)
If making a canoe paddle grabbed your attention, a few spaces opened up in this weekend’s Build a Wooden Paddle course (May 13-15, session 1 and session 2). Looking for an early Father’s Day gift for yourself or a loved one? The next Build a Wooden Paddle course will be held June 10-12.
This Saturday, we also have openings for Mosaics, Indian Hand Block Printing, and Votive Candle Holders. Grab a friend and register now to save your seat!
Did you see that we’re offering Wool Spinning? This two-part course starts next Tuesday, May 17 and our instructors provide everything you need to learn the art of spinning. If you have your own wheel, you can bring it and we’ll help you set it up and learn to use it.
Here’s to friends, new and old!
