New Critical Care lead

Real-Time Virtual Support (RTVS) is extending a warm welcome to Dr. Scot Mountain, from Trail, who is joining the team as the new RTVS Rural Critical Care lead. Dr. Mountain will be working with the team to restart a Critical Care pathway.

No PoCUS Practice May 11

There will be no PoCUS practice today (Wednesday, May 11) due a clash with travel to the Rural Health Conference in Penticton. More information about PoCUS Practice is available here.

RTVS is also being used to create a community of learners interested in rural maternity care with coaching from a Maternity and Babies Advice Line (MaBAL) Registered Midwife or rural RN.

These sessions are geared towards nurses supporting maternity care in rural sites, covering a range of topics through interactive case discussions.

MaBAL Coaching with Midwives takes place on Thursdays at noon Pacific. More information about MaBAL Coaching with Midwives is available here.
