CAJM Celebration Tonight!

Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. | Moor Hall | Refreshments provided
We are hosting the Capital Area Justice Ministry end-of-year celebration! At this event, CAJM leaders will review the results of the Nehemiah Action held in April. Everyone will also have the opportunity to write postcards to commissioners and to make financial contributions that will enable the organization to continue building on this year's victories. If you’ve been involved in any way with this ministry throughout the past year, join us for a fun evening to celebrate our progress!

Volunteer Needs: Club Car Shuttle Drivers and Livestream Help

We are in need of volunteers:
  • to help drive the Club Car shuttle service at the 11 a.m. service
  • to assist with livestreaming the 9:45 and 11 a.m. services (training provided)
These important roles help us welcome congregants to church and reach those online who aren't able to attend in person. If you are able to serve in these ways, please contact Mike Kasper at cwcollector@aol.com or 215-852-8602

Host a Youth Dinner

Can you host a Summer Sunday Night for UMYF?! We have some events scheduled already, but would love to keep momentum by gathering at family's homes in-between. Register here to sign up. Thank you for loving our Trinity youth!

Bike & Build

We are hosting Bike & Build, a group of bicyclers working to address affordable housing, in our church building from May 26-29. This extraordinary group will be biking from Jacksonville to San Diego and volunteering to help build and repair homes all along the way. Tallahassee is their first major stop, and they will be working with Big Bend Homeless Coalition to repair some of BBHC's facilities. We will be hosting their group for three nights. If you'd like to participate in showing hospitality to this group, please sign up here to help provide breakfast items for them.

Ministry Fair

Sunday, May 22 | 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Moor Hall
This is your chance to see what Trinity is involved in, meet key ministry leaders, and connect to the work of our church - all in-person. We’ll have displays and ways to join in ministry from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Moor Hall. Food trucks will be on property with options for lunch. So, mark your calendars, come out, and Find your Place at Trinity’s ministry fair.
All services will be at their usual times, and the SUN Service will be held in the Chapel.

Donations Needed for Children's Home

Our Florida United Methodist Children’s home in Madison is in need of items for summertime. This year our group is all girls ages 10-14. In addition to hygiene, sunscreen, toothpaste, and bug repellant, we need African American hair care. If you are unfamiliar with these products, you can go to the Ethnic Hair Care aisle, where you can find a good variety. We have some of the Cantu products, so to give a variety, here are some brand names to look for:
  1. African Pride products (the curl definers and oil treatment would be great)
  2. TRESemme’ products
  3. Carol’s Daughter and various coconut oil treatments.
  4. Edge Control for natural hair or Edge Growth
  5. Smoothing Gel for Natural Hair
  6. Curl Activators (within the African American line of Hair Care)
Dan Drake, our local church representative for FLUMCH, will collect your donations on both Sunday, May 22 in the Welcome Center and Sunday, May 29 on the portico.

BFC Exercise resumed in -person classes in April! Come join us as we play with all the fun exercise equipment from our closet! Try a stability pad, big ball, gliding disc, weights, a flex strap and more.  Six classes are offered each week in-person and continue via Zoom, for beginners to advanced.

Please contact Allison Corrigan with any questions.

Children’s Time Volunteers Needed

We need one extra volunteer each Sunday. Sign up HERE

Service Opportunity with Second Harvest

We have a unique opportunity to help our partners at HOPE Community by sorting bread donations at Second Harvest on Tuesdays from 1:15-2:45pm. Volunteering anywhere from once a month to every week will help immenselyInterested volunteers should make a VolunteerHub account as an individual at https://fightinghunger.volunteerhub.com/, then email Libby at libby@fightinghunger.org letting her know they'd like to volunteer for HOPE shifts so she can activate their Volunteerhub account. You should then be able to view the volunteer calendar and sign up for the volunteer shift on Tuesdays.

Snack Pack Volunteer Opportunity

If you are looking to connect with our neighbors who are unsheltered and experiencing homelessness, this is your chance. The Snack Pack ministry team invites you to join their work on Thursdays from 11 to noon at the church.  Call the church office (850-222-1120) with your contact information to join in.
Send us your photos!
If you've taken any photos at Trinity events, we would love to have them! It's quick & easy- just upload your photos at this link. Thanks!
