Other Opportunities and Resources
May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AA NHPI Heritage Month).

AA NHPI Heritage Month celebrates the journey, culture, and life experiences of all Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders who played key roles in American History and those who continue to contribute to the many facets of culture and society.   Please explore information from the Library of Congress and the National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to further your knowledge.

The Office of Minority Health (OMH) has several resources and data highlighting contributions of people who are Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander.

The National Institute of Health developed a YouTube video that talks about stereotypes and biases about the AA and NHPI community.  This video features voice actors from the NIH community who have read anonymous submissions aloud followed by words of hope and information about how to be a better ally.

Population Health

The Office of Minority Health (OMH) provides Minority population profiles.  The profiles provide detailed demographic, language fluency (where relevant), education, economic, insurance coverage, and health status information, as well as full census reports.
