When they said resident-led organizations lacked capacity, WLP rehabbed three vacant homes for families to call home. In addition, thanks to funding by the city of Orlando, WLP has kept 270 homes (469 residents) supplied w/food, produce and Covid-19 supplies during these most difficult times.

► Artwork at the Heart
Lift Orlando is looking for West Lakes residents interested in participating in an Art For The Heart Committee for the remainder of 2022. This committee will advise Lift Orlando on the selection and development of art pieces and décor for the Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center, slated to open on the corner of Tampa Ave and Jacobs Place in late 2022.
