Calling all church members to volunteer to help spring clean the church. Come along for as much or as little time as you can spare between 10am and 3pm on 28 May.
We will have some cleaning products but we would encourage you to bring what you can to help; buckets, sponges, cloths, hoovers, sprays, rubber gloves, mops and buckets.
The more the merrier! :-)

Róisín Anne Jenkinson invites you to an entertaining evening of eclectic performances by artists from around the world. There will be prophetic painting, music, a cappella singing, poetry and storytelling by artists Mandy Jackson, Ines Khai, Mary Oyediran, Deborah Palmer, Kenneth Hickey, Anton Cullen and a special Trumpet Tribute for Brian Beardsley by his brother John Beardsley and sister Helen Beardsley. There will also be a significant dance performance from Christian Dance Fellowship of Ireland’s Barbara Wood, Jonathan Daly & Brian Millar. Are. Welcome.

Hot beverages (including hot chocolate for children) will be served along with signature Clowns for Haiti (cup)cakes and savoury sandwiches.

YWCA - Hope Filled Conversations
YWCA are launching Ireland's Hope-Filled Conversations as part of their exciting strategic planning process. They wish to host conversations with young women from across the island of Ireland.

One of the challenges of this process is recruiting participants... Joan Nichol (Lucan GB) would like to hear from any young woman who:
  • identify as Christian (perhaps a member of the church or GB networks) this is not essential as I am happy to talk to young women who don't identify with any faith
  • are between the age of 18-35
  • be available for a 90 min online focus group meeting in June or July (see potential dates below - all evenings)

If you are interested please contact Joan or email lucanpresbyterian@gmail.com and we will forward your details.
Tithes and Offerings
The church leadership want to say a big THANK YOU for continuing to send and bring your offerings during the pandemic period. The new church committee has a big intray of maintenance work to do around the church and we want to keep supporting our mission partners and ministries, so please prayerfully consider how you might continue to give.
Standing order forms and bank details are on the LPC website.
